INSPIRATION FOR THE HOME OFFICE

Pinterest is my fav place to look at inspiration when it comes to my future home office. And for a creative person as myself, that means I really want a BIG workspace area. It is actually pretty hard finding the perfect desk, if I can say so my self – but it is freaking easy to actually make one yourself without costing a lot. My tips for that is just using some Ikea nigh stands of small commodes to make one yourself, just the way you want it.

I think it is pretty obvious that I love pink, white and gold. And here are my fav items that I really wants in my future home office! (Can we all just take a moment and look at that søstrene grene chair. I’m so in love with it, and it is just so perfect!)

Say hello to my newest addition to my interior collection. This pineapple lamp from kremmerhuset is just the perfect one, and I’m obsessed!

I got this for my 24th birthday as a birthday gift from my mom, and I’m obsessed. I’ve been collecting pineapple interior details for the longest time, and I’ve been wanting a gold pineapple lamp that can go on my desk. As a person I’m very picky when it comes to interior accessories, and it has also been very hard to find the cutest gold pineapple lamp, but this one is just perfect.

I’m totally obsessed with gold and black these days, and for september I’m currently craving these interior items. I actually bought the mirror and ladder yesterday as a birthday present for myself from my grandparents, and I think they make the perfect statement to my room (now I just need a few blankets that will go with the ladder – *Me, when I’m finding excuses to buy new interior things!* haha).

I’ve been wanting a mirror for my bedroom for the longest time now, and this mirror has been on my wishlist since we got it in stock in the interior store where I work. I was actually planning on buying this and paint it gold, but I think I’m in love with it just as it is!

Oh, and btw: I’m wearing an oversized shirt from Zara, earrings from NA-KD, jeans from Gina Tricot (as always, cuz yes, I’m only wearing one type of jeans – they’re my fav), and my lip color is a lip pen from NYX in the color pink cantaloupe (soooo beautiful!!)

FICUS LYRATA

Yesterday I spontaneously bought myself a big as ficus tree, even before I got the chance to think if it would fit in my tiny car. (But of course, with my luck, everything went pretty well!) Since my lemon tree totally ditched me, and didn’t want to be my friend at all, I really wanted to invest in a new plant. I found my ficus tree at Granit, and I even got a 50% discount on it, which is totally craycray!!

When it comes to interior inspiration, I’ve been totally obsessed with Aimee Songs (aka song of style) style. I just think that she is the goddess when it comes to interior, and as being a interior designer my self, she is my number one biggest inspiration. Lately I’ve been checking out all her interior videos on youtube, and also constantly checking her blog for new interior post. I just love them all, and I’m totally obsessed with this office sitting space right now, it’s so chic.

There is no secret that my biggest dream ever is to draw and design my own house (and of course, I’ve started the process). What I’m looking the most forward to when it comes to owning my dream house must be to plan the backyard and the garden. I’m pretty sure how I really want to design it, and I got so many ideas on what kind of furnitures and decor I really want. I’m totally obsessed and inspired by the exterior that you can see in my little inspiration collage. It’s so elegant, chic and of course, so relaxing. All I really want!

NEW IN: MESSAGE BOARD

When it comes to interior details, I’m totally obsessed with quoted pictures, and that is kinda my thing. For a long time now I’ve been wanting this thing (message board(?) – I don’t know what it’s called in English – haha) and I’ve been searching like crazy online to find it. I know that house doctor had one, but paying around 1000 NOK (around 100 dollars) for one has not been something that my budget has been willing to do.

I was strolling around city today doing some errands and went to take a look at the Granit store that has finally opened here in Stavanger, and they actually had these for a lot cheaper than I’ve been seeing online, and of course I knew I had to have one.

The quote is from the song gold from Owl City, which is one of my all time favorite songs (and artist!). And yes, I forgot the s after star

BEDROOM WANTIES

I’m in need for a little change, and as soon as I get my summer vacay from School I will go crazy at shopping new stuff that I kinda need, but don’t need (just because I want them, and just because it would make my bedroom look totally bomb!).

Right now, I have this minimalistic style going on in my head, but I also want to look cool, just because I want to take cool pictures in my room without feeling like it looks so boring in the background (LOL).
